Mark Roberts, PT Clinic Director
Mark is originally from upstate New York. He graduated from the University of New York at Buffalo in 1996, moved to Tucson in 1998, and started AGILITY Spine and Sports Physical Therapy in 1999. He worked as the team therapist for the Tucson Scorch Hockey team in 1999. He was the Catalina foothills middle school lacrosse coach in 2008 and 09. He is trained in sports medicine, orthopedics, balance/vestibular, and manual therapy. He is continually refining his knowledge and manual skills, keeps current with the recent advances in surgery and post-op protocols, and practices evidence based treatment. When he is not treating patients, he likes to run, bike, play Lacrosse and Hockey, and spend quality time with his family: Jodi, Jack 8, Charlie 6, and Max 2. He is currently coaching U6 soccer and a Cub Scout Den Leader.

Jodi Sawicki Roberts, PT
Jodi is originally from upstate New York and graduated from the University of New York at Buffalo in 1996. She moved to Tucson in 1998 and helped co-found Agility Spine and Sport Physical Therapy in 1999. She has advanced training in orthopedics, manual therapy, and balance disorders. She currently is not treating patients and is focused on quality assurance and practice management.
Jacob La Shot, PT, DPT Clinic Manager
Jake is originally from Kenai, Alaska. He received an undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology and recently graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University. Jake enjoys treating a multitude of conditions at AGILITY with a primary interest in sports medicine and orthopedics and practices evidence based treatment. Jake enjoys every day he has with his patients and making progressions towards improved health. Jake is also trained in Balance and Vestibular disorders. When not treating patients he stays active outdoors: hiking, climbing, running, soccer, and an amateur photographer.

Carol Dickman, PT
Originally from the Midwest, Carol graduated with a degree in Physical Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1969 and moved to Tucson in 1998. Her accumulated knowledge and skills over the years in various settings include respiratory care, acute care, hospital and home care, skilled nursing rehab and currently outpatient orthopedics for the past 13 years. Her outpatient orthopedic treatment expertise includes TMJ dysfunction, manual therapy, and vestibular/balance. Carol is highly regarded by her patients and by Healthcare professionals citywide. When not treating people, Carol practices Healing Touch with dogs and horses, assists in equine facilitated learning workshops, and plays with her horse, Ben, along with her 3 dogs and 1 cat!

Ben Radack, PT, DPT
Ben, a Tucson Native, graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2006. With over 5 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, Ben incorporates manual therapy and exercise in his treatment plans to promote accelerated recovery and works with all orthopedic conditions in all age groups. When not treating patients, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, Julie, and two children, Erik and Emma. Ben is also the Founder and current President of the Karla Ember Foundation for the Arts, a non-profit organization that aims to promote delivery of fine arts education to the youth of Tucson.

Gage Permar, PT, DPT, OCS
Gage is originally from Show Low, AZ. Gage graduated with honors from Northern Arizona University in 2008 and went on to complete an eighteen month residency in orthopedics and manual therapy with Evidence in Motion. He has also has his OCS which means Orthopedic certified specialist. This is a high achievement in the world of PT. He enjoys treating neck and back pain and specializes in applying manual therapy combined with exercise to optimize function. Gage enjoys basketball, free weights and a variety of outdoor activities.

Danny Hill, PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant)
An experienced Healthcare professional, Danny redirected his career in 2006, and subsequently graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Pima Medical Institute in 2008. Prior to becoming a PTA, Danny worked for 16 years in Behavioral Health with individuals that have developmental disabilities and or/mental illness. Danny is a Tucson native and graduated from the University of Arizona in 1998 with a BA in Sociology. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, Danny is trained to perform all forms of skilled treatment provided by a PT. Danny enjoys working with people from all walks of life. He always goes above and beyond with his patients and is one of our most popular team members. During his free time, Danny loves to golf and spend time with his family.

Amber Schot - Front Office
Amber is a Tucson native. Amber completed the Physical Therapy Technician Program from Carrington College in 2010. She joined the Agility Team in March 2010 as a Physical Therapy Technician and transferred to the Front Office Administrator position in 2011. Amber is our dynamite Front Office Coordinator and the first person you will likely speak with. She will gather your information and get you scheduled as fast as the insurance system allows us. Amber enjoys getting to know each patient and assisting them through the Administrative side of Physical Therapy. On her personal time, Amber enjoys watching movies and making specialty cupcakes.... (you may want to get on her good side).
Giovanna Salgado - Office Manager
Giovanna is a Tucson Native. She holds a BS in Accounting and Finance from the University of Arizona. She also completed the Medical Administrative Assistant Program at Pima Medical Institute. Bringing over two years of experience in Physical Therapy Office Management, Giovanna joined the Agility Team in May 2011. She enjoys seeing every patient succeed through their rehabilitation program. Gio is focused on customer service/quality assurance and is more than happy to help guide the way through the process of PT. In her spare time, Giovanna loves to spend time with her daughter, attend baseball games and travel. Giovanna is fluent in spanish.
Eddie Martan - PT Technician
A native of Tucson, Eddie completed the Physical Therapy Technician Program from Carrington College in 2010 and joined the Agility Team in November 2010. Eddie hopes to attend a Physical Therapy Assistant program within the next year. He enjoys the daily interaction with patients and being a part of every patient’s rehabilitation. In his spare time, Eddie enjoys basketball and fishing. Eddie is fluent in spanish.
Hector Romero - PT Technician
Originally from Douglas, AZ, Hector completed the Physical Therapy Technician Program from Carrington College in 2010 and joined the Agility Team in November the same year. Hector is currently attending the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Pima Medical Institute, which he will complete in September 2012. Hector enjoys being part of every patient’s rehabilitation and is expanding his knowledge daily. When he’s not working or studying, Hector loves to spend time with his wife and 2 children. Hector is fluent in spanish.
Jen Schultz - PT Technician
Jen is a Tucson Native and has lived in Hawaii and Japan. She holds a BA in Japanese with a Minor in Marine Biology from University of Hawaii. Jen joined the Agility Team in September 2010 and plans to attend Physical Therapy school within the next year. Jen loves to work with patients to make a difference in their lives. In her spare time enjoys hiking and scuba diving.
James Calles - PT Technician
James is a Tucson Native and joined the Agility Team in March 2011. James plans to a attend Physical Therapy Assistant program within the next year. He understands the value of exercise and incorporates exercise in every patient’s rehabilitation program. James enjoys the satisfaction of helping people recover and improve their quality of life. When not working, James enjoys playing soccer.
Melinda Bacon - Physician Liaison
Also from the Midwest, Melinda graduated with honors from Bethel College, Minnesota with a degree in Organizational Studies. She has worked in the field of Relationship Management for over 30 years and recently decided to combine her skills with her passion for health and wellness. She joined Agility in spring of 2011 and greatly enjoys developing and maintaining excellent relationships.
